We are thrilled that we are now able to send some of our gorgeous home accessories not just within the UK, but further afield into Europe. So if you live abroad yourself, or would like to send a gift to someone overseas, remember this! Just another of the ways we are always trying to enhance Rose & Grey’s services to you, the customer. Non furniture international orders incur a £20 charge, but please note that unfortunately we cannot ship furniture overseas, at this moment in time. As for UK based customers, in case you weren’t aware, our regular UK mainland deliveries are charged at just £4.95 (sent with either Royal Mail or tracked parcel 2-5 day delivery service) – whilst any orders over £100 are free of charge! Statement Stairways
Quite often stairs are one of the first features you see on entering a home, so have them make a good impression. Carpeted or bare, both options can work equally well, but if you are unsure then an ideal middle option is a carpet stair runner - a look that gives a fabulous vintage vibe. Stripes or bold blocks of colour can be really stunning. A runner could even be painted on, so if you have decided to ditch the carpet altogether, get creative with floor paint. Some of the most quirky designs often feature intricate trellis or other repeat patterns – using a stencil or drawn freehand if you feel confident - they look amazing, but must take incredible patience! If you are concerned about safety for little ones, there are non-slip paints available. A nice idea if you do have children is to number the stair risers, so they can read them as they count the steps. ...
